I spent yesterday afternoon taking some family photography shots with these two ladies at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. It was a lush sunny but fresh day and we went on a Gruffalo Hunt nature trail and ended up in the nice cafe there for a coffee. I wanted to capture Poppy's cheeky little character and amazing energy naturally, and to make the most of the Spring colours and textures. I also wanted to get some nice 'mother and daughter' shots. In January I was lucky enough to be invited to be the photographer for West Weddings Magazine's Spring '17 shoot at the recently refurbished Bristol Harbour Hotel. A collaboration of suppliers from across the Cotswolds wedding industry contributed to the day to create some great shots, one of which made the cover of the magazine! The shoot had a real 'urban' vibe, especially when we went out into the streets of Bristol and started to attract some crowds! So this was a bit of a departure from Cotswold wedding photography... but who am I to turn down unusual?! I spent a day at Wellington arch covering the Virgin Media Business conference at Wellington Arch in London - an awesome location which they were rightly proud to secure! The challenge here was to capture the blend of historic and modern corporate whilst also thinking about images which all the suppliers there would like for their social media/ website/ promotional material.
